This year, foodies can celebrate both Taco Tuesday and National Taco Day on the same day, Oct. It's that time of year again, when taco restaurants nationwide show love to the warm, meaty, stuffed tortillas. Would we eat here again? Probably not, and especially with so many other choices in the area.Watch Video: National Taco Day should be every day and here is why They also have a salsa bar with 12 different salsas to pick from. I think a family of four could easily spend $50 here - FOR LUNCH!! (Thank goodness we're water drinkers!) The food was very good though. We paid a tad over $18 for a chimichanga, two enchiladas and a small order of guacamole! That may not seem like a lot to folks from NYC, Aspen, or other such expensive cities, but it does sound like a lot to me. So that was very nice of them, but that means the food was really expensive - in my opinion. (I think to get you drink refills, clean tables, etc.) She went and checked our order and said that the cashier hadn't charged us for the chips and salsa, but she gave us a free order for the confusion on our order. I questioned the girl assigned to our area. When it came to the table, I received a chimichanga instead of a burrito, and they had forgotten the order of chips and salsa. So when the cashier repeated the order to me, I heard the basics and agreed to it. They were very busy, it was quite loud in there, and I felt very rushed. They got our order wrong, but it was partially my fault. Again, I prefer to sit and let people wait on me after a stressful day of driving. They bring the food out to you when it's done. Here you need to grab a menu as soon as you walk in the door, stand in line until it is your turn, place your order, pay for your order, wait for your drinks, then take a seat. I, on the other hand, don't like cafeteria-style dining while traveling. This restaurant is located near a university and very fitting for college students.
